General Conditions House Avalanche, Saas-Fee

  1. The landlord leaves the furnished apartments in House Avalanche to the renter for their natural use and against the stipulated rental price.
  1. The booking confirmation contains all the details concerning the booking and the payment.
  1. The renter commits to execute the first payment 7 days after the booking but no later than the day indicated on the booking confirmation. If the payment is not executed until this term, the booking is considered as not confirmed.
  1. The payment of balance is to be executed 21 days before the arrival date.
  1. In case of a short term booking (less than 21 days before the arrival date), the total amount is to be payed directly with the booking.
  1. The rental price includes bed, bath and kitchen linen, electricity, water, heating and Internet. The rental price does not include the final cleaning and the Tourist Tax. These are indicated in the booking confirmation and on the bill under “Tourist Tax”

    Tourist Tax:

    1.11. – 31.5.: CHF 4.50 per adult and CHF 2.25 per child (6-16 years) per night
    1.6. – 31.10.: CHF 7.-- per adult and CHF 3.50 per child (6-16 years) per night
    With the Tourist Tax you get free travel on all PostAuto buses in the Saas-valley and a reduction on the car park in Saas-Fee.

    In summer, you get free and unlimited use of eight of our cableways (all except the MetroAlpin).
  1. The renter takes care to the facility items in the apartments and in the common rooms. In case of damage, the renter informs the landlord immediately. At the departure, the renter indemnifies the landlord in cash for damaged, missing or lost items.
  1. The renter is responsible for his physical and life insurance. In case of damage to property, Article 7 of these general conditions applies. In case of hindrance to occupy the booked apartments, the renter informs the landlord immediately. The renter is liable for the payment of the rental price, unless the apartment can be rented otherwise during the concerning period.
  1. The landlord recommends to the renter to conclude a cancellation insurance that assumes the rental price in case of accident, illness or death.
  1. If the apartment is occupied for a shorter period than the period booked, the total amount of the rental price is due.
  1. The landlord reserves the right to proceed, after consultation of the renter, to changes in the booking confirmation.
  1. pecial agreements can only be concluded with the agreement of the landlord. They complete the booking confirmation.
  1. Place of jurisdiction for all of the disputes arising from the rental agreement is Visp. The Swiss law applies.
  1. Subsidiary, the articles 253 – 274 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) apply.
